Mr. Linder is of Counsel to Kopelowitz Ostrow.  Prior to working with KO, he was formerly an attorney with national firms Greenberg Traurig and Akerman Senterfitt.  Mr. Linder’s practice focuses on the following two areas: (a) business planning, trust and estate planning for high net worth individuals and families, IRS civil controversy work, pre-immigration planning, negotiation of domestic and international business transactions with a focus on the Caribbean, Central and South America; and (b) corporate transactions of all types for both public and private entities, including entity formation, mergers & acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiation, and tax planning.

Mr. Linder graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in political science in 1992. After working for three years for the State of New Mexico as a probation/parole officer, Mr. Linder attended Yeshiva University – Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and received his J.D. in 1997. Additionally, Mr. Linder received his LL.M. in Taxation from the prestigious law school of New York University.

Mr. Linder has been chairman and/or a speaker at various Florida Bar and other conferences related to trusts and estates and taxation. Additionally, Mr. Linder has written various articles and book chapters on similar subjects.  Currently, Mr. Linder sits of the Board of Childnet which is Broward County’s community based care provider for those children and families living with distress. He also sits on the Board of the Nat King Cole Foundation Generation Hope which is responsible for providing musical instruments and training to public schools whose funding has been cut. Mr. Linder has also served on the Mt. Sinai Hospital Foundation Board, the Miami Beach Public Safety Committee, the South Pointe Advisory Board and the Anti-Defamation League’s Civil Rights Committee.
