Scott is a member of the Community Association, Club and Resort Practice Group, the Real Estate Practice Group, and the Litigation Division. He provides counsel to and represents condominium, homeowners and cooperative associations in all aspects of community association law. His representation includes assisting board members and property managers with day-to-day operational matters, budgetary and assessment issues, election procedures, corporate governance, contract review and drafting, covenant analysis and enforcement, and management and developer relations. In his Litigation practice, Scott focuses on commercial and real estate disputes, including the areas of construction, contract disputes, and compliance with state and local regulations.

As part of his community association practice, Scott also represents hotel condominiums, country clubs, and voluntary clubs and associations. Scott takes great pride in providing value service to his clients by immersing himself in the many complex issues facing boards of directors, unit owners, and property managers. He has significant experience and skill in negotiating multi-million dollar bulk service contracts, navigating the Fair Housing Act regulations pertaining to pet restrictions and tenant screening procedures, analyzing short-term rental restrictions and ordinances, and preparing amendments to governing documents. Scott understands what it takes, and what it means, to have a well-run community for the benefit of all residents, and his continuing professional objective is to help his clients accomplish their fiscal and operational goals.

Scott serves as a member of the Legislative Task Force for the Florida Bar where he works to identify areas of the statutes in need of legislative reform, evaluate critical policy considerations pertaining to real property and planned development law, provide input to the Florida Bar regarding proposed legislation, and draft recommended statutory revisions for legislative review.

Scott has been selected as a Florida Super Lawyer-Rising Star for four years in a row (2020-2023), an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in law practice.  Only 2.5% of attorneys in Florida receive this distinction.  He is also an established writer and commentator on current legal issues, having been published by Law.com and the Daily Business Review.

Additionally, Scott was appointed to the Delray Beach Code Enforcement Board by the City Commission, where he is responsible for adjudicating allegations of City code violations.

As a proud Double Gator, Scott attended both college and law school at the University of Florida where he earned Cum Laude honors for both degrees, and graduated in the top 15% of his graduating law school class.

Scott was born and raised in South Florida. He is active in the community, holding membership in numerous organizations, including the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar and the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.
