Marni L. Avidon is an Attorney in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, focusing her practice on Financial Services Litigation and assisting banks and other financial service providers with regulatory, enforcement, transactional and litigation matters.
Since graduating law school, Ms. Avidon has worked as a Litigation Attorney at various firms throughout Florida. She has represented major loan servicers in both state and federal court. She has experience with claims involving the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, Fair Debt Collections Practice Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Ms. Avidon is a member of the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Broward County Bar Association, American Bar Association. Ms. Avidon received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Florida and Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.
