Marshall R. Burack is a partner in the Firm, resident in the Boca Raton office. For more than the last 25 years, Mr. Burack has practiced health care law, representing physicians and physician groups, diagnostic imaging centers, ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, medical billing companies, and other participants in the health care industry in connection with various regulatory, corporate and business matters.

Mr. Burack has represented health care entrepreneurs in connection with the formation and development of diagnostic imaging companies, group purchasing organizations, pharmacy benefit management companies and physician service companies, and has represented such companies in their sale to publicly-held companies for hundreds of millions of dollars.

Mr. Burack also represents individual physicians and physician groups, providing advice with regard to employment agreements, hospital contracts, contracts with payors and various other issues which arise in connection with the operation of a physician practice. He is equally comfortable representing hospitals and large corporate entities in the health care industry, as well as individual physicians. Having practiced health care law for more than 25 years, after starting his legal career as a corporate and securities lawyer, Mr. Burack is able to advise his clients regarding health care regulatory issues, such as fraud and abuse and self referral laws, as well as regarding general business issues. Mr. Burack is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

Mr. Burack has been recognized by Leading Florida Attorneys, Top Lawyers in South Florida, Chambers, and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He has had numerous articles published in various health care publications, and has lectured to physicians and for the American Health Lawyers Association.

Mr. Burack is involved in community activities. He is a member of the Board of The National Parkinson Foundation and a member of the Board of Jewish Community Services of South Florida.
