Scott J. Weiselberg is a shareholder of the Kopelowitz Ostrow Firm, P.A.  Mr. Weiselberg represents both individuals and business entities and provides tailored legal counsel to meet the unique needs of his clients.

With a strong and diverse clientele, Mr. Weiselberg’s practice is international in scope and his clients include foreign and domestic senior executives, emerging companies, family-owned businesses, publicly-traded corporations, financial institutions and tax-exempt organizations, as well as the boards and committees of these types of business enterprises.

As a pre-eminent business counselor, Mr. Weiselberg advises and defends clients in a wide range of matters, from corporate governance and mergers & acquisitions to complex contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.  Much of Mr. Weiselberg’s corporate practice relates to representing professionals with contracts and conflicts related to entertainment and sports, branding and marketing transactions, media and sponsorship agreements, advertising agreements, promotional agreements, and food and beverage agreements.

Mr. Weiselberg delivers an innovative and tailored approach to his relationship with clients intended to attract and retain talent.  In short, Mr. Weiselberg combines the strategic, compliance-focused work of corporate counsel with the personalized, rights-based advocacy of individual representation, making him a versatile resource for both entrepreneurs and established businesses.

Mr. Weiselberg previously founded or served on the Board of Directors of several philanthropic organizations benefiting community charities such as Miami Children’s Hospital, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, The Boys & Girls Club of Miami and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Mr. Weiselberg is a member of the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Broward County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and serves as a member on several Florida Bar committees.

Mr. Weiselberg received his Bachelor of Science and Business Administration from the University of Georgia and Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.
